The Student Network Engineer assists full-time network engineers and student network leads in providing world-class network services for 17,000 residence hall students and 50 departments consisting of 6,500 staff covering 94 locations on four campuses across the state.

Key Duties
- Assisting students in residence halls with device connectivity, port activations, and jack repairs
- The installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of wired/wireless network equipment
- Working with full-time network engineers on special projects
- Providing front desk services, such as guest welcome, package handling, and operating a courier service
Qualifications
You don't have to be a geek to work here! Ideal candidates are able to commit a minimum of 10 hours per week, have a demonstrated interest in computers, tech, and helping others. A valid driver's license and satisfactory completion of background check are needed as well. Bonus points for prior experience in a customer service environment!
